FELLOW LEGIONNAIRE'S
Unfortunately we did not have a quorum at our April meeting. Therefore we will hold our April meetingonMay3rd, 7pmandhaveour 1st nomination of officers. On May 10th we will have our monthly meeting for May and have our final nomination of officers. The voting for our new officers will take place on June 14th from 9am -7pmin the Lounge. We will then have our Post meeting in the Legion hall where the votes will be counted. If everyone runs unopposed there will be no need for voting. You will be notified in our June Newsletter.
The Officers of the post and I wish all Mother's a very happy Mothers Day on May 13th. On May 27th the Legion will participate in a memorial service at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens at 1 pm. On Memorial Day May 28th the Post will hold its annual service at Riverside Memorial Cemetery in Tequesta at 11 am.
The Post Color Guard will have its annual Memorial Day Bar-b-Que May 28th from Ipm-5pm. The price is $7.00 per person, all-you -can -eat. Chickens, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn -on- the-cob and all the fixings.
Don't forget we are having our Golf Tournament of May 5th to benefit the post Children and Youth Programs.
On May 19th we will have our Annual Police Awards dinner.
