I
don’t know about you, but these years are going by to fast for me.
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season.
The 10 winners of the early bird drawing were picked and will be listed
in the 1st Vice’s column in the newsletter.
As you know, anyone who paid their 2008 dues before November 1st,
2007 was eligible for the drawing and the 10 winners will not have to pay their
2009 dues.
Again
this year we will have the Southern Gents playing on January 24th
7-9:30PM. If you want to hear some
great Dixie Land Jazz, than come on down and you’ll get a real treat.
Our
300 Club Party will be on January 26th from 3PM-7PM.
Tickets for the new 300 Club will be available.
We
participated in the annual Christmas Parade and our Color Guard, led by Norm
Fickett, looked as sharp as ever.
As
I stated last month, fellow Legionnaire Ed McKeon, a representative of the West
Palm Beach VAMC, will be available on the 3rd Saturday of every month
from 9AM-11AM in the Post lounge, to help you with any VA related problems.
