G.I. Insurance:

Veterans who may have kept your GI Insurance upon separation or discharge from the US Military please read this article.  It has come to our attention that some veterans have insurance but have not kept up with address changes, beneficiary names or other information.  It is important that you contact the VA Insurance Specialists in Philadelphia. 

You can contact them Monday to Friday from 8AM to 6PM at 1-800-669-8477. 

You will need your Social Security number only to get this information.  If you are not sure if you kept your insurance give the Specialists a call and they can check on it for you.  Many waivers were granted for WWII and Korean Veterans so you may have insurance and don’t know it.
