We start off the month of May with our annual Golf Tournament on May 3rd. If you wish to play, call the Post to see if there are still openings.
Mother’s Day is Sunday May 11th. I’m sure all you gentlemen will be bringing your wives or lady friend to breakfast at the Post.
On May 17th, we will be having our annual Police Officer of the Year Awards Dinner. Seating is limited so reservations are required.
We will be having another blood drive on Sunday May 18th 9AM to 12 Noon. As usual all donors will receive a free breakfast.
On May 25th the Legion will participate in a memorial service at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens at 1PM. On Memorial Day May 26th the Post will hold its annual service at Riverside Memorial Cemetery in Tequesta at 11AM.
To end the month, the Color Guard will have its annual Memorial Day Bar-B-Que on May 26th 1PM till. The price is $8.00 per person, all-you-can-eat. The food will be chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob and all the fixens.
At our Post meeting on May 8th we will have our final nominations of officers. If you wish to run for office you must be at that meeting.
I was informed by our Bingo Committee that they can use some help on Sunday evenings. If you can help one or two days a month it would be greatly appreciated. Call Dom DeFilippi for further information at 747-8121.
I want to thank all the snow birds for their patronage at the Post while they were here and I wish them a safe trip home.
