As I have stated before, please have 5 copies of your DD214 given to your wife or significant other.  Every member of the American Legion is entitled to the following:           

1.      Plot allowance – currently at $300.00 (there is a bell in congress to raise the allowance to $1200.00)

2.      Headstone

3.      Partial transportation of the body from place of death to funeral home (more if death occurs in a V.A.

4.      American flag to cover the coffin.

5.      Presidential Memorial Certificate.

 I will be here the 3^rd Saturday of each month.
