At our SAL Meeting in May our 2008-2009 Officers Nominations were for Vic Carpenter for Commander running unopposed.  Harry-the-Hat as Finance Officer running unopposed and George Rifenburg as Adjutant. All other Officers running unopposed as well. 

I would like to thank Sam Normandale for supplying the Veterans Crosses for the Cemetery.

Sam has provided the materials, manufacture and painting of the crosses which are placed on the vets graves on the Memorial Day Weekend.

I also thank everyone at the Post for a great tenure as your SAL Commander in the past years. I will be serving as Adjutant to your new Sal Commander and with good luck at the Convention, Southern Area Commander Detachment of Fla. I Congratulate Vic and Harry and will do all I can to support them in their new posts.
