The American Legion Convention was held in Orlando on July 17, 18, 19 and 20^th.  The Post represented by Officer’s of the Legion, S.A.L. and Ladies Auxiliary.  I have the new 2009 membership cards and will mail them to you A.S.A.P.  Pay your dues early and you will be eligible for the early bird drawing on November 13^th.  We will pick ID winners whose dues will be paid for the year 2010. 

 

The Post Sea Cadets put on a great 4^th of July Bar-B-Que.  I would like to thank the boys and girls and their families for a job well done.

 

Unfortunately our kitchen was closed for a couple of weeks from July 6^th to July 22^nd.  The kitchen re-opened on July 23^rd under our new chef.  Many of you know him as “Chef Mike” of Tequesta.  I urge you to show your support for our new chef by partaking in one of our lunches, dinners or breakfast on Sunday’s.

 

The Post will be undergoing an internal audit in August and the results will be published in our September newsletter.
