I would like to tell you what you are entitled to if your go to the West Palm Beach V.A. for your primary appointments.

            1.         You would see the same doctor at least twice a year.

            2.         You would get all blood tests, including the PSA test twice a year.

            3.         You would get a chest x-ray once a year.

4.         You would be sent to the G.I. clinic at least every 3-5 years depending on your age.

5.         You would go to the eye-clinic once a year.

6.         You could get any consult to specialty clinics such as dermatology as needed, and make your own appointments to such clinics.

See you the 3rd Saturday of the month 9AM – 11AM.

SCHOLARSHIPS

 

We now have the scholarship applications at the Post canteen.  If you are a member in good standing and your child, grandchild or great grandchild is a senior in high school, it wouldn’t hurt to apply.  We are early so the child can get his or her volunteer hours in as needed and they can study for their midterm exams.  I need them in my possession by February 1st, 2009.  Disregard what the application says; I must have them by February 1st, 2009 so I can write a letter of recommendation.
