MORTGAGES

 It has come to my attention that many of our members have mortgages on their homes that are much higher than the house is worth.  If the veteran sells the house, he still cannot            pay off the mortgage.

 The V.A. has come up with a simple solution.

1.      Apply for the certificate of eligibility – it takes about three weeks to receive.

2.      After you receive the certificate call the V.A. at 1-877-827-3702.  The V.A. will tell you what to do.  They will set up a new mortgage for you and thus avoid foreclosure.
