Legionnaires,

 

             The New Year’s Eve party in the lounge went very well with approximately 50 people in attendance. A tip of the hat to Chief Mike and to the volunteers, who helped prepare the food, served it and cleaned up afterwards.

            I would like to thank Becky and all the other Ladies Auxiliary Members for the spectacular job that they did decorating the lounge for the holiday season.

            Now that our members from up north are back down I urge you to call in advance for our Saturday night dinners. This month there will be a special Valentine Day dinner consisting of Filet Mignon and stuffed shrimp for $14.95. Call early or you may be shut out.

            Our card lock was installed and is working well. It was brought up on the floor that a light should be installed outside the rear kitchen door, the motion was passed and the light will be installed shortly.

            I would like to thank SAL Member Cliff Curtis and Legionnaire Wayne Miller for the many repair jobs that they do around the Post at no cost to the Legion. They are truly volunteers.
