LADIES AUXILIARY

Dear Ladies,

Our January meeting was very informative.  Yes, we are very grateful for the members who always donate their time and money to support us.  We are now a unit of almost 200 ladies how I wish more members would attend to help with our new and up coming community activities. We were asked to support A Palm Beach Health Dept program called "shots-by-two" a program that reminds busy mothers, that it's time for new needed shots for their child. Some of us did volunteer but how nice it would have been to have extra helping hands. (If you can help, it's not to late)

We are again asking for a donation of a bottle of cheer for our yearly St Patrick's Day  "BASKET OF CHEER” that is raffled on St. Patrick's Day.  Please label your donation and drop it at the Post.

Our next meeting deals with us choosing girls to be sent to Tallahassee for our Girls State Program. Last year 15 girls applied for the two spots we had available.  Due to our increase in membership, we now have three spaces available. A very cool program, please come and observe.

I hope not to be repeating myself but on the first and second Friday of every month the Auxiliary prepares appetizers for the Post.  Like I said before, it is always the same ten members donating their time and money. At our last meeting we discussed asking the membership for a yearly $10.00 donation for this cause.  If you are able, please sent your donation to the American Legion Auxiliary-Unit 271-775 US Hwy One Tequesta, FL 33469.

Our membership renewals are still slacking.  Our fiscal year goes from July through July.  Please send in your dues so we can yet again this year reach 100% membership.  It means so much for our ranking at state level.

Thank you to all of our officers and members who are always supportive of our missions.
