Legionnaires,

 

          As it is every year, May is one of our busiest months.  We have our Legion Golf Tournament on May 9th at the Golf Club of Jupiter.  Every year it is a sell out, so get your sign up sheets in A.S.A.P.  The cost is $75 per person.

 

          I would like to wish all you ladies a “Happy Mother’s Day” on May 10th.  Hopefully your loved one will take you for a Mother’s Day breakfast at the Post.

 

          Our Police Officer of the Year Awards Dinner will be on May 16th.  Reservations are required.

 

          On Monday May 25th our Honor Guard will be putting on our Annual Memorial Day Bar-B-Que at the Post, starting at 1PM.  Tickets are $8.00 each for all you can eat, which includes chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob and all the fixens.

 

          The Legion will hold its Annual Memorial Day Service at Riverside Memorial Park on May 25th at 11AM.  Our guest speaker this year is Charlene R. Szabo, Director of the West Palm Beach V.A.M.C.

 

          At our May 14th meeting, we will have our final nomination of Post Officers for the 2009-2010 Legion year.  If you wish to run for office you must be at this meeting.
