our Memorial Day service at Riverside Memorial Park was well attended by Veterans and their families and Community Representatives. It was great to see Roy Rood give our 61st year of observance dedication. Our color guard led by Gunney Sgt. Norm Fickett looked sharp as always. A special thanks to the Legion Sea Cadets for placing a flag on all the Veterans graves.
I would like to thank Chef Mike and the Legion Color Guard for putting on another great Memorial Day Bar-B-Que. I would also like to thank S.A.L. members “Duke” Peterson and Ken Moree for getting the fire going and getting the chicken cooking while the Color Guard was at the cemetery.
